what an inspiring thought. what an enlightenment. the one sentence that just cleared up the mess in my head. law is serious. everyone who reads this entry shall, from now on, be aware that law is not fluff. law isn't all that cloudy stuff that just pops into the judges' minds while they munch on lays potato chips. no judge will be snacking and then suddenly say "hey! i should write a law about defamation! just in case someone comes along and starts labelling me as a fat loser, i've a rule on my side that will help me win a case against that guy!!" law isn't interesting. no matter how silly the case seems, there'll always be that oh-so-serious rule that will drag us back to reality and remind us that law is not fun. it's law. it's serious.
that line from my textbook helped me this much. in realising that law is serious. (like who the heck didn't know that). i hope it helped you too. oh yeah. to all those deluded souls who aspire to study law, and want to buy their own textbooks, this is how useful the textbook is. all for a grand sum of $70+++.
please do not take me seriously. i was joking. i love law. love it to bits. even though i'm falling aslp for all my lectures. attending tutorials with an empty mind. and struggling with all the assignments, readings and what-have-yous. i love law. though it's killing me. killing me softly!!!! i see myself dying a slow, painful, horrible death.
