so...during the journey (yes, journey) i embarked on 1 min ago, from the dining room to my room, i heard a piece of news that stunned me. (for all u stupid ppl, the living room happens to be the place where the bulk of the my journey took place.)

the newscaster went : Now, you can even take books out of the library to read! *beams*

is it just me? or is the newscaster/news room/mediacorp/singapore so bloody retarded that they totally forgot the fact that the purpose of a library is so that one can borrow a book out of the library and read it outside the library?

oh! the stupid things they try to promote for a stupid new building!
